Also the kernel driver is in a different repo - I'm not sure which one you would need to branch, perhaps drm-linux. There's a mailing list you could join or search to find out.

Yep, just posted this on a Leveno forum and was told this, I should
have known as my original trade was comms!

Sure will, I decided that as I cannot see obvious damage I will be
putting it back together and looking for another board. As I want it
for my holiday I may have to get a usb dongle or pmcia card for
temporary use.
Anyone one know if most dongles now work or are there still problem
chipsets!?
