Hi,
A conundrum for a Sunday morning!
I have a Moto G which does not come with a power supply, it only comes
with a micro usb to usb cable that works OK from my TV.
I have two "CE" micro usb 5 volt supplies, one 1.5 amp and the other
2 amp.
One of them came with an android TV dongle the other I bought for a
raspberry pi, both work with my android dongle and not with the
Moto G. The phone does not detect any charger, I have tried charging
from sleep, switched on and off, nothing detected.
I cannot think it can be anything other than quality differences in the
cable or the phone is very particular with voltage!
Anyone had similar problems?
PS I have read of some problems with charging S/W but I have upgraded to
"Kitkat". I also read that I could use a mains/usb plug PS and use the
supplied cable.
Regards
