Bitwig is actually written by two of the guys who wrote ableton, so it's
likely they will be fairly similar. Ableton isn't a toy though plenty of
professionals use it, even if it's only so they can perform live. And
pigeon holing a piece of equipment like that is like saying an MPC is only
for HipHop.
Just out of interest which style/styles of music do your create?
