Hi All,
I priced up a new system on Amazon tonight: ?783.10 (incl. delivery)
Case: Antec ISK 600
PSU: Corsair CP-9020099-UK CX850M
MB: ASRock H97M-ITX/AC
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3
GPU: XFX Radeon R9 390
MEM: Crucial Ballistix 16GB DDR3
HD1: Samsung 2.5" 250GB 850 EVO SSD
Does anyone spot any glaring hardware compatibility issues?
Thanks, Chris

Hi
Can't see any glaring incompatibilities. PSU is over specced for the
components you listed, but would allow for a beefier graphics card in the
future. Make sure the power supply is 80+ bronze certified.
You may have driver issues with that motherboard, but the following gist
should sort them out: https://gist.github.com/chaicko/9f6cad3dc87827efe0eb

Thanks Dave,
Interesting re the PSU - XFX website recommends 850w, but I've seen several preconfigured systems using 750w.
I'll review the kernel stuff now...

The kernel doesn't look like it'll be a blocking issue.

I've also been wondering if LAN party case is the way to go, although I've not seen many cases.
