Hi there,

I'm a bit puzzled why you don't have a cable with your Finepix camera.
When I bought one, there was a cable with it, which plugged into the
camera at one end and into a USB socket on my computer. When the camera
was switched on it looked to Linux like a disk device, and one could
download the pictures on the camera into the computer for further
processing. This worked for me until the camera failed horribly for
unknown reasons. If you wanted to have the cable you could email me and
I could send or bring it to you. It's no further use to me.
