I have one of them.
The problem is that the tapes are about 45 minutes long and it would
take quite a time sorting all the clips. If they can be recorded
separately it would be much easier.

Yep that may be my best option as my recorder is set to 5 minute
chapters, which would be a bit faster than sorting it from the camera!
