When we did Linux Live we also put Jitsi into each of the builds... It was improving daily at the time, there were also investigation into the various messaging infrastructures that were emerging on KDE and Gnome.

The original blog post definitely was ,even the day before April 1st by
the looks of it. My email no that was after 12 this afternoon, but my
intention wasn't to try and fool anyone with that , but rather share a
good April fools joke I had come across :), so no fool of the year here
:). Plus I wasn't even awake properly again until after 12, and I
thought of the fool of the year thing even before sending my email. I
think the before 12 thing is a little out dated as well for actual April
fools jokes, (which again I wasn't doing) since a lot of people go to
bed late these days and on certain days wake up again properly quite
late as well.
