A bit subjective. I happen to think the way people are *unwittingly*
co-opted into this is one of the bigger ones.
Android dependency on Play store could be viewed as a sneaky way of
getting people to link their real identity to Google analytic markers,
in a way that is less optional than traditional browser tools.

Hi,
Like Lorenzo, I do not have the space to set up all my audio outboard.
But I can get quite a lot done with just the mixer and the Edirol UA-25.
The computers off course run Linux. I have not used any RT patches since
2.6.8 or thereabouts, am currently on 3.14. The major issues with audio are
usually due to issues in the graphics drivers and X windows.
Recording a single stereo track with jackd takes about 5% of my dual core
Intel Atom @ 1.6GHz.
