No that was June's meeting a guy from Linux Voice came. He's moving to
Bristol soon to I think, if hasn't already, so he'll probably be at at
least some future BBLUG meeting's as

Hi

I came to my first BBLUG meeting in early 2012, and I have been to most
of them since then, but for all of those meetings we have only had about
10 people by the most., Some of us including myself would like more
people to attend the meetings.

In March some of us went to the Linux Live event. At that event quite a
few people came along who would have possibly have gone to a BBLUG
meeting, if only they had known that there was such a thing.

It seems for me that most or all of the new people who currently come to
our BBLUG meeting's for now already know that LUG's exist.

I believe like quite a few other Bristol technology groups and groups in
general, that we should have a proper page on http://meetup.com and that
it will help bring in quite a few new people to the LUG meeting's as
time goes on. I could try and set up such a page myself.

For another group that I started going to last year that was actually
losing a lot of people, a change of venue and a Meetup page, really has
resulted in an influx of new people.

I think that the Knights Templar Pub is absolutely fine as the venue for
our informal pub LUG meetings for now, but that to gain more new
people, that we should still have a proper presence on http://meetup.com
with a page for the BBLUG there and people rsvping on it when they are
intending on going to a BBLUG meeting.

Regards

Sebastian

I am interested in seeing its content as Nathan said it was very good,
If you could bring it to the KT later I would like a look!

We are an informal group and as such anybody who wishes to improve
attendance can do what they think is suitable.

Go ahead and do it, but you need to keep it updated!
