Katie and I are here. I've got a blue Kubuntu t-shirt on and we have Linux
Voice featuring Bristol LUG with us.
We are in the UPPER area, where we normally meet, straight in front of the
door.

Hi all,
my name's Lorenzo, I'm a 27 Italian sound engineer moved in Bristol at the
beginning of May.
I'm using linux (several distro, but mainly ubuntu) for common use from
years, and I keep using it for my audio projects.
I run a linux based home studio in Italy, and I'm willing to continue my
project here in Bristol, in a not so far future! Now I have no space to put
my recording stuff, so I brought from Italy just a couple of mics, a couple
of soundcards and the studio PC (now running UbuntuStudio 13.10).
I was wondering if is there someone using Linux to pro/semi-pro audio
purpose in your group. I would be really happy to know more about it and to
share my experience.
Thank you in advance, hope to get a reply, even if negative!
Cheers!
Lorenzo
Ps. I just casually noticed that today (!!) was the day of your monthly
meeting and that it must have finished.. right now! So sorry about that, I
could have come and joined you and personally introduced myself. BTW, I'm
planning to stay here at least for other 3 months, there will be time for
that!
