Hi

Tommorow this Saturday, don't go to our usual LUG meeting pub, instead come
to an awesome vegan cafe, Cafe Kino BS1 3RU, (with Ubuntu Cola), if you are
interested in helping us out with the LUG's event! If someone from the
LUG turns up at the KT pub tommorow they are likely to be there on their
own, with people who aren't from the LUG.

Please aim to be at Cafe Kino for 11am if you are intending on helping
with the event, because I would like to brief helpers, before 12, and
before possibly opening the event up a bit early as well to the public, if
we are set up enough. The public event times are 12 noon to 6pm, but we
actually have the events space Cafe Kino basement booked to 7pm
,so may run it a bit later if got enough visitors still at about 6,
before packing up
etc.

If you are intending on helping, and we haven't had recent contact about
that, or contact about it yet, please email back when you are intending on
being there, and about any equipment you are intending on bringing along,
such as possibly a lap top with a certain distro and interface on it.

When it comes to the desktop side of the event, Ubuntu is the main focus,
but certain people it seems may have Mint along on a lap top as
well, and I am also intending on showing Mageia a bit, not just Linux
based mobile
devices. When it comes to install media we will only be giving
away Ubuntu 16.04 USB's.

We are in a arty part of Bristol, Stokes Croft, so hopefuly the Creative
Commons aspect of the event, will go down quite nicely there, with the
general public as well.

The event is mostly not that technical in general, but even for techies
likely to find something of interest there.

I hope to have an awesome event tommorow, with an awesome turn out as
well!

Best Regards

Sebastian

P.S

Put in email address wrong for original email, so now got one with some
slight changes.

Sorry but I will be a no-show as I've got to get my stuff from
Wolverhampton tomorrow as next Saturday is when my broadband (finally)
arrives.

Hope to meet you all next month though!

Have a good time. ☺
