Yes, gotcha!

I had difficulty finding Clevedon website and eventually phoned someone
who said 2 people had recently volunteered but the site was not being
updated.

This seems a VERY common occurrence!

The reason I was asking was the local club has just had their 3rd
"Administrator" in 5 years who has given up it seems they were just
hobbyists like me but with a less knowledge would you believe!

I am not volunteering to be a single administrator as it is too much for
a single person to do also I am unable to go on the committee.

After our earlier discussions on wordpress "user plugins" that would
allow secure updating of designated pages, I set up a duplicate site on
a laptop to show the club how WP worked but there was never an interest.

They have now got interested again and I have made a presentation (for
31st Oct) showing WP and explaining a better way to maintain the site.

I have am just finishing it and as I am not 100% sure of the facts and
was wondering if you could comment on it as you had been through the
same process!?

PS left this on the list in case it was of interest to others but can
email you direct if necessary.

Regards

I don't remember any discussion about freenode, but #bblug has always
lived on perl.org.

According to the topic:-

10:00 -!- Topic for #bblug: less SCART talk than usual
