Hello Max,

Webrtc is probably the way to go for this, its built to be built into stuff
so will fit your needs better

I'd be interested to help test it if you like.

Cheers
Amias

Hi all,
I'm working on an art installation for an electronic music festival in
eastern europe. Can anyone recommend a voip client that I can program via
an API ideally in python?

I have build a script that runs on ubuntu and the skype4py library, but
it's a) microsoft, b) deprecated and c) it doesn't work to ring real world
telephone numbers.

I know I could do something with asterisk, but it seems very heavy for the
requirement and would require much more programming and hardware than I
would like.

Thanks all.

Max B
