I've got a debian mdadm Raid1 with a dicky partition.
Replaced duff disk and setup the new partitions. (Note this is booting the
resident kernel via a CD as grub is confused at this point!)
When resyncing, some of the partitions fail on a READ from the SOURCE, which
seems odd.
I tried a dd which has the same issues.
Rebooted from CD using the CD kernel and fsck on all the MDx reports no
problems.
I'm about to put the drive into the fridge for a bit, but have I missed
anything?
I REALLY don't want to lose this disc.....
Cheers,
Martin.
