1: does anyone know how to contact the administrators of the Debian
forums? It says my account is deactivated and to contact an
administrator, but cannot find out how!
2: I want to ask Debian about pppoe; I recently installed FTTC using
the supplied modem and straight into a Debian box. It works OK
except when the link hiccups it restarts two ppp networks, and that
messes up the firewall rules (written for ppp0, and ppp1 is blocked).
The question is where does this second ppp come from? And how do I
remove it? ~I suspect /etc/network/interfaces but the documentation is
far from clear. Actually there are minor issues like no logging.
