Is there anyone in or near Bath who could test one stick of server
memory for me?

Hi,

Had a problem with a crossover cable and lost my OS so have been
re-installing Raspbian onto a SD card and have tried twice
but cannot seem to get git to download:

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo apt-get git-core build-essential
E: Invalid operation git-core
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ git --version
git version 1.7.10.4
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ git?clone?git://git.drogon.net/wiringPi
bash: git?clone?git://git.drogon.net/wiringPi: No such file or directory
pi@raspberrypi ~ $

I am now using a full Raspbian install rather than a noobs but I assumed they would both have worked, or is it likely I have set up
something different!?

WiringPi is still available as seems to still have a page.

Regards
