Hi,
I updated from fedora 18 (32bit) to Fedora 20 (64bit) a few weeks ago
and everything seemed OK but....
was just asked for a couple of scans and realized I had no scanner S/W!
As I used "Simple Scan" previously (worked OK), I installed it and the
icsan data/core from the Epson driver site. It now reports:
"Could not send commands to scanner, check scanners status".
I checked it is plugged in and it still works on my old fc 18.
Is there a problem with using latest kernels or has anyone got an Epson
Perfection V500 to work OK?
I have the following:
Fedora 20 3.16.3-200.fc20.x86_64
PS did scans on fc18 and posted them off OK.
Regards
